The Helio family before Kaskalend

The helio family started out as a noble family under the rule of the Astara family within the danish kingdom.Before the second era of the surface the Helio family was tightly intertwined with the governance of the bunker. However when the bunker finnaly opened its doors to begain conquest the surface the Helio family fell behind the Northshield and the Astara family in influance and power. As the years passed the Helio family grew deeper ties with the Astara family. eventually the Astara family gained enough influence that they needed there own lands so they talked to many of the noble families close to them and founded a new town named Vsterup. The Helio family was one of the noble families that established this new town with the Astara family. Trandalle and Vsterup continued to grow for years when eventually the race to become king began. the Helio family threw their entire support behind the Astara family, but as the race coninued it became clear that the crown would not go to the Astara family. As the Astara family lost their grip on the crown they slipped into tyranny and made many rulings that directly threatened the prosperity of the Helio family.
The new danish system
After Trandalle was founded the populus relized that the calander system that had been in place for 500 years while under ground would not sefice on the surface. So they introduce a new system starting on the day that Trandalle was founded. it had 13 months and every month was 28 days long.
The founding of Kaskalend

After the Astara family lost the bid for the crown of denmark, their hunger for power seemed to grow rapidly and their behavior became very eratic. From the formation of the kingdom of denmark onward as the domain of the Astara family grew they only rarely granded new lands to any of the lords. however the tipping point came on 25 - 5 - 15 when the Astara family announced the closer of the western channel. many of the noble families that made their fortune through trade decided they had enough. So on 25 - 5 - 20 the Helio, Jevi, Cantali, Hentro and several other families meet in secret and discussed their options. during this meeting the families decided they were going to abandon Vsterup and start a new settlement. over the course of just a few days these families rerouted dozens of ships to the agreed apon location, and contruction begain on whats now called Kaskalend old town and the start of Kastske. finnaly on 25 - 6 - 2 the noble families and many commoner families moved in to their band new homes.
The Helio take over of Kaskalend
25 - 6 - 2 to 26 - 2
In the years following the founding of Kaskalend the Helio family set them selfs out as a important family. Before Kaskalend the Helio family held large amounts of land and as such they held a massive section of the agricultural sector. In Kaskalend the Helio family set up the infrastructure for all of the agricultural production. As Kaskalend continued to grow the Helio family continued to gain more and more of an influence over the town. In 26 - 2 the Jevi family and the Hentro framily had a despute over propertly lines. This dispute led to a brawl right on town main street, after that the town relized it needed a proper legal system. the nobles of Kaskalend were torn between two choices the Helio family and the Jevi family. But after a very long discusion the nobles finnally agree apon the Helio family. That evening they had a ceremony to officially grant Hintra Helio governship over Kaskalend.
The Helio families involvment in Skolmenste

When some of the remaining minor nobles in the Astara realm finnaly hit their tipping point they came to the decision to follow in Kaskalends foot steps and also start their own town. As many of these noble families wernt particularly powerful they couldnt have done it them selfs. In the planning for Skolmenste the leading family was the Grenta's. the Grenta family sent for the Helio family and asked for help in planning and building skolmenste so once again the nobles of Kaskalend rerouted shipments and started building. Because of this help the Helio family had large amounts of control over Skolmenste.
The Helio families false lordhood
30 - 1 - 1 to 38 - 1 - 5
In the months after the founding of Skolmenste Hintra Helio began to grasp for power across the two towns. Eventually both towns had grown substantially and the Helio family had taken compleate control over both towns. the Helio family held a cerimoniy and granted governship of Skolmenste to the Grenta family.
