Located on the southern tip of what was once known as Bathurst Island in Northern Nunavut, Canada, Moislland is on the northern bounds of arable land. Founded by a rugged group of explorers, they quickly realized the only way to survive the frigid cold was to stick together--literally. The early founders clustered their houses and production closely together, and as the city grew and evolved, they formed megastructures that could house everything including warehouses, taverns, creameries, breweries, refineries, and more. An advanced filtration system keeps the air breathable right next to the iron mines and tools workshops scattered throughout the settlement. Vast farmland to the west and deep mines to the east, the city has since expanded north, terraforming the frozen arctic wasteland through localized climate control devices.

Now, Moislland is focused on internal growth, rather than exploration. The city continues to expand its megastructures to support its dense building policies. As a result, Moislland is proud of the fact that it has not lost a single villager to the cold, and in fact continues to grow at a rapid pace. The city has recently shifted focus from growth to research and exploration, stifling the speed at which its population grows as its citizens focus on expeditions and uncovering the secrets in the ice.
