General Overveiw
Kinthounta is a town located in North Western North America. Kinthounta is regularly refered to as
Kina, the name of the city comes from some lenguistic quarks that emerged in the shelter built in down town of the past city located underneath Kinthounta. during nearly a centure under ground many linguistic changes occured due to the small number of people issolated for so long. In this bunker the term Kinthounta came to mean, "barely functional". eventually as Kinthounta began to grow and establish its self as one of the biggest cities in the new world locals began calling the town Kina, and the word began to develop its own meaning. it eventually overtook the term functional and is now the primary term.
Resources and Economics
Kina is a town located in region full of dence forests. as such the inhabitants decided their best choice was to build primarly out of wood, parralelling the old city of Calgary its built atop. unlike the old city Kina has yet to experience a great fire that caused Calgary to shift to primarily sand stone buildings.
Kina was founded in a part of the world that have very low levels of survivors. meaning they didnt have many opportunities to interact with the global economy. not far after Kina was founded Mount Pea formed in the far south of what used to be Calgary city limits.
Kina's economy is primaraly based on the sale of wood to Mount Pea, as well as highly unhealthy and unstable alcoholc tendencies amoung its residents.
The Great Kinthounta Race Way
The great race way is the jewel of not only Kinthounta but also the Pikukaini alliance. plans for construction began early in Febuary 3026 but the city did not have the means to build it for a little longer. construction finished on march 16th 3026. the race way holds over 600 seats for the commoners of the city to veiw the races, over 65 penthouse suites for the high class and 15 penthouse seats reserved for city and alliance leaders who visit for the races. The race way has been used both for foot races as well as horse races.
Population Statistics
the city grew slowly at first but due to the rapid growth of its lumber industry there was lots building materials for new dwellings and workplaces.
